Why have I been blocked from using certain features?
Facebook has determined that you were using a feature at a rate that is likely to be abusive. Before you were blocked, you were given a warning to slow down your use of this feature. For example, if you were blocked from sending friend requests, then we determined that you were adding new friends too quickly. Please be aware that further abuse of such features can result in your account being permanently disabled and removed from the site entirely.

What are the limits?
Unfortunately, Facebook cannot provide any specifics on the rate limits that we enforce. Please know, however, that the speed at which you are acting and the sheer number of actions you have made are both taken into account.
How long will the block last? Can it be lifted?
The duration of the block varies depending on the nature of the offense, ranging from a few hours to a few days. When the block is over, please proceed with your site activity at a slower rate so as to avoid hitting another block or having your account disabled.

Facebook will not lift this block for you until the entire penalty time has elapsed.
Why have I been warned for spamming?
It is a violation of Facebook's Terms of Use to repeatedly send the same message or to make the same post. Facebook prides itself in protecting users from spam, and we take this standard very seriously. If you have been warned, please do not send or post anymore messages with the same or similar content. Spamming on Facebook will lead to your account being permanently disabled.
I’ve been sending out information for my Group/Event but now I’m being warned for spamming. Is there a way I can inform my friends of these changes without being warned?
Spamming is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to indiscriminately send unsolicited bulk messages. While you may not have been purposely trying to commercially solicit other users, repeatedly sending the same message or making the same post is a violation of Facebook’s Terms of Use and is considered a very serious offense.

To protect our users from spam and other unsolicited commercial messages, Facebook has imposed stringent guidelines that flags when a user repeatedly sends or posts the same message- even if you were simply trying to organize a group or event.

Facebook has several recommended alternatives that can ensure these situations don’t arise again.

If you were trying to spread the word about changes to an event and were sending out all of the information in messages, we suggest you create a Facebook Event. To create an event, please click on the "Events" link in the left column of any Facebook page. From here, click on the "Create an Event" link at the top of the page. You can then fill in all the necessary information for the event and invite all your friends using the invite feature within the event. You can also utilize the "Message All" feature, which allows you to message all guests that have RSVP’d ‘yes’ to the event.

If you were trying to promote your group by posting a link to join it in a message, on a wall, or in a discussion board, this can be construed as spam. We suggest making your friends administrators of this group so that they can invite their friends using the Invite functionality built into the group. You can do this by clicking on "Edit Group Members" and then on "make admin" next to the users’ names. Each admin can invite his/her own friends to the group.
I’ve been blocked for sending too many messages, are there any alternatives?
Facebook has several features in place to limit the potential for abusive or annoying behaviors on the site. One of these features is a cap on the speed and frequency at which a user sends messages to other users.

Please note that even if all of your conversations were legitimate interactions with friends, our message service is not a chat client, and should not be treated as such.

As a recommended alternative, we suggest you check out Facebook Chat. To start using Facebook Chat, click the Chat icon in the bottom right corner of your browser window when signed into Facebook, and choose the "Go Online" option at the top of the chat window. You can see which friends are online by clicking the "Online Friends" link at the bottom of the page; a green dot will appear next to a friend who is online and available to chat, while a white half-moon icon will appear next to a friend who is currently idle. You can start a conversation with any confirmed Facebook friend by clicking on their name. Once you send a message, your friend will receive an alert at the bottom of their screen, and they can reply by typing in the conversation box provided.

In sostanza pare che tu abbia usato qualche cosa in maniera eccessiva e Facebook ha deciso che -forse- ne stavi abusando per fare danni (tipo spam) e quindi ti hanno sospeso.
Spiegano anche che in realta' non ci sono limiti definiti ma che decidono loro arbitrariamente a seconda di quel che gli sembra.
Inoltre la penalita' deve essere scontata integralmente, quindi e' inutile chiedere di sospenderla.
